Chili Nut noodles

Makes 2 servings.

  • 2 bunches of Potato Noodles

  • 1 tsp Chili Oil

  • 2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce

  • 1 tsp Palm Sugar

  • 3 Garlic Cloves - chopped

  • 1 tsp Garlic Oil

  • Bunch of green onions

  • 1/4 cup pasta water - saved from cooking the noodles

  • 2 Tbsp Macadamia Butter

  • Chili Onion Crunch (TJs)

  • Toasted Sesame Seeds

  • 1 lb ground pork, seasoned (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bring large pot of water to a boil with salt in it and boil your noodles. Reserve 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the water for use in the recipe.

  2. In a wok, cook the ground pork seasoned with white pepper, a little salt, and garlic powder. Remove this from the walk before proceeding.

  3. Mix 1 tsp Chili Oil, 2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce, 1 tsp Palm Sugar, 3 Garlic Cloves - chopped, and 1 tsp Garlic Oil together.

  4. Empty the pot used for the Noodles, throw this mixture in and add the green onions chopped. Stir for about 20 seconds until bubbling and add the 1/4 cup pasta water and 2 Tbsp Macadamia Butter. Mix the noodles and meat into this mixture to coat. Remove from heat and serve.

  5. Top with Chili Onion Crunch (TJs), a sliver of chili oil on top and Toasted Sesame Seeds.

NOTES

This recipe can be made with ground chicken thighs, turkey or pork.
